New Freedom: Next...

open log:
This first week of my escape has lead me on a wonderful adventure and for the first time I have hope for the future.  My skills have been gaining along step with my advance within the Federation Navy and their trust.  I've been on a mission deep into Caldari space.  I've even encountered a Jovian, which strangely seemed to be familiar to me, the oddest feel came over me when I saw the ship on a mission - as if something within me awoke.
I've moved homes and now calling Mirilene my new home base of opperations. It's a beautiful system and my new agent Armimieres Beltant has grown to be a kind friend. We've really seemed to have hit it off and from the stories from other pilot's, she's known to throw a cold shoulder. But for me, I've seen only compassion and a true hope for my advancement. Perhaps it's just a woman thing, needless to say, I'm so very thankful for her and for her friendship - it's been so long.

New Freedom: Day Three

Open Log:
Spent more time learning how to trust my ship and my skills today.  Mostly ran missions for the Federation Navy.  The pay is terrible but it's giving me standing and building my new life.  Soon I'll be able to hunt those responsible for my misery and loss...I so worry about my two children and the hell they are enduring...

New Freedom: Day Two

Open Log:
Jakobb really was worth every isk, his work to make me into a Capsuleer is more art than science or medicine, so making my first payment today was an honor...even if it took me 12 jumps to do so.  Today also marked the first day flying my Rifter "Riff-Raff".  Running missions for the Federal Navy was a breeze and often times I couldn't lock a target fast enough my 150MM cannons were popping ships so fast...speaking of fast - there's not much else as exciting as running at 900KM/s.  Those Rifter's are amazing pieces of machine - kind of like those Minmatar men!
"Riff Raff" Headed out to make some isk
I had a terrible nightmare.  Woke me to a cold sweat.  I'm sure I'll have this dream again, but I hope my new freedom isn't short lived...No!  I know I will never be taken or be used that way again.  I'll kill them or they will have to kill me - there's no other option.  Speaking of killing.  Saw on the neocom that the asshole Amarr Captain's ship suffered from a core breach just as he was warping to his home system.  They said it may take weeks pulling pieces of his ship out of the near-by gate's structure.

New Freedom: First day

Open Log:
Arrived in Couster today with 5K isk to my name and luckily the cloths on my back.  If that asshole of an Amarrian Captain had his way I'd been left for dead nude.  He'll have his hands full with that reactor breach just about the time he warps into Amarr space.
Finding that I blended in with all the rest of the new arrivals I quickly looked for any kind of work I could get, short of selling my body.  I love the Gallente Federation, so open and, well, social.  Getting legitimate work was simply a task to chat with Hasier Parcie...it helps that he was more interested in looking at my chest than my Neocom Ident.  Men are so predictable, a little clueless giggle and we've got you by the balls - too bad you are needed for awesome sex from time to time.
My work ended with the completion of all Hasier's tasks - I didn't want to hang around for him to work up the courage to lay down his best pickup moves only to be disappointed by my lack of interest.
I reached out to a "local" who seemed to know his way around ships and making a living at what some may call "being a criminal".  I say he knows what he wants and is smart enough to get it.  He's got me training so hard I barely had time to log my day but never-the-less I did, now it's off to study.  Tomorrow is a big day for me, I'll be taking possession of my Rifter that I was able to purchase.
If I could only erase the bad times of my past like ill placed words...but my scars are for the rest of my life to remind me of what some men are truly like behind closed doors.
